The student-teacher ratio at Hill Country Arts Academy is 10:1, which allows our teachers to provide individual attention to each student and ensure their academic success.
At Hill Country Arts Academy, tuition includes instruction in music, art, and drama for all students. Interested students can also take dance classes during the school day at no additional cost. Families must adhere to the dress code and provide the necessary attire and footwear for these classes.
Hill Country Arts Academy does not offer a food program for its students. Students are required to bring their own lunch and any desired snacks. A microwave is available for student use.
Hill Country Arts Academy adopts a unique educational approach, centering on a literature-based curriculum that weaves the arts into every facet of learning. This institution provides students with a diverse array of instructional mediums, including traditional books, modern technology, and immersive project-based activities. Tailoring to individual needs, the academy ensures each student receives a personalized curriculum during dedicated work periods, while also fostering collaborative skills through group projects that engage multiple senses and encourage active participation.
The school day is from 7:30-3:30. The building will open at 7:00 am for students with classes beginning at 7:30. Classes end at 3:30 and students need to be picked-up no later than 4:00. Students not picked-up by 4:00 must be enrolled in afterschool classes.
Student Fee 50.00 (non-refundable) - Hill Country Arts Academy will provide each student with the supplies needed for the school year. The student fee covers the admission process and student supplies for all non-elective classes. This fee applies to full-time students enrolled Monday through Friday.
Monthly Tuition 500.00 - August through May
School Dress Code
1. No bare feet, appropriate footwear is required.
2. No see-through clothing or bare midriff.
3. No shorts and skirts more than 3” above the knee.
4. No alcohol, drug advertisements, or profanities.
5. No hats, caps, or stocking caps worn inside the building.
6. No clothing that shows disrespect for the American Flag.
7. No tank tops with less than 3” shoulders or large arm holes.
8. No gang-related attire.
9. No Inappropriately ripped or torn clothing.
10. Pants and shorts must be worn at the waist (no sagging).
