About Hill Country Arts Academy

Homeschool Programs at Hill Country Arts Academy

If you’re looking for a full, creative day once a week, Homeschool Fridays might be the way to go. But if a more varied, multi-day schedule appeals to you, the Homeschool Hybrid programs provide that flexibility, along with a mix of academic and creative classes tailored to different days.

This enriched program is thoughtfully designed to nurture both the intellectual and artistic talents of every student. By integrating these engaging arts electives into both hybrid schedules, we ensure that your child receives a comprehensive educational experience that prepares them academically and inspires creative self-expression.

Additional Note for Younger Students: For families with Kindergarten through Second Grade students, there’s also a drop-in single-day option. However, students in third grade and above need to choose one of the full hybrid or the Homeschool Friday options.

Homeschool Hybrid Options

Our Homeschool Hybrid Options— are designed to offer both strong academics and a dynamic arts experience. Both hybrid options now include dedicated arts electives in Dance, Visual Arts, Theater, and Creative Writing, ensuring every student has the opportunity to explore and express their creativity.

Homeschool Hybrid Options

  • Tuesday and Thursday Hybrid:   On these days, students participate in core subjects such as Literature, Music, and Mathematical Reasoning and Writing. In addition, there are scheduled arts elective sessions covering Dance, Visual Arts, Theater, and Creative Writing. This arrangement provides a balanced mix of academic learning and creative exploration throughout the week.
  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Hybrid:   For this option, Mondays and Wednesdays focus on subjects like Social Studies—complete with interactive map work and projects—Grammar, Reading, Mathematics, and Computer Work. Alongside these academic subjects, students will also take part in arts electives featuring Dance, Visual Arts, Theater, and Creative Writing. Friday continues this blend by reinforcing both academic and creative skills during the day.
